Health columns provide valuable information in Battle Ground.

Southwest Medical Group has teamed up with The Columbian to provide a new health column in the BG Today special section of the newspaper. Southwest Medical Group doctors from the Battle Ground clinic provide answers to health questions as shown in the examples below. Two new mailers will serve as a follow-up to the tri-fold brochure that SMG has been mailing out to Clark County newcomers. Targeting by geographic location, residents will receive an envelope with a customized letter and insert (see left) that welcomes them to the area and promotes the services offered at either the Battle Ground or Fisher's Landing locations. The envelope features a window that lets the image of the family and all text peek through, creating a more dynamic and personalized mailer.

The insert also lets newcomers know they can choose a free gift (either a pedometer or digital thermometer) when they become a new patient. A unique URL provides more information about services offered by SMG as well as key points of interest in the area.
